At our 20 week appointment, our son, Roderick Tristan, was diagnosed with a neural tube defect, that will eventually take his life. Every since it has been nothing short of a roller coaster ride of emotions. As of right now, I am almost at the 31 week mark, and Tristan is still living happily inside of me. However, due to other problems that are starting to occur due to his defect I could go into labor at any moment.
So what does this mean for Dana Sue Photography? It means at this time, I am focusing on my family, and spending as much time as a family of four as possible.
What does this mean for the future of Dana Sue Photography? Well more than ever I have realized that photography is my passion and my dream, and I want to pursue this more than ever. Photography has been a passion of mine since I was very young, it has also been one of my biggest fears. Through the journey my family and I have embarked on I feel more sure than ever this is the direction I need to go to glorify God.
The future of Dana Sue Photography is brighter than ever before. In the next few months be looking for personal photos of my family growing in grief, and learning to find joy in the down pour. I have found that my passion God has given me will be my saving grace, and will bring me comfort through the extreme pain.
Also be watching out for the redesign and the official reopening of Dana Sue Photography.
I apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused, and please be patient with me through this transition. I am extremely excited about what the future holds for Dana Sue Photography, but right now, I have to focus on my family.
