The greatest thing in life is love.
Hi, I’m Dana and you’re going to find that my personal life
and work go hand and hand. I love my
family, friends, God, photography, Dr. Pepper (it’s my vice), being outside,
sports, my dog, and life.
I believe that no matter what, you have to hope, and lean on
God. With enough faith, hope, and love anything is possible.
I am blessed to be married to an amazing hunk. He is my rock (figuratively and literally,
seriously his arms are like rocks). My
husband is a coach at Breckenridge High School. So
don’t be surprised if you find me yelling at a football game or hanging out at track practice. I love watching him
coach, and the passion he has for his players.
I am a mommy to two beautiful boys. I hold one in my arms, and one in my heart. I
have no idea what “normal pregnancies” look like, because I have never had a “normal”
one.
My first son was 6 weeks early, and spent 2 weeks in the
NICU. Elex is now the craziest, most lovable
son and big brother you could imagine. He
is what you would call “all boy”. If you
don’t find him shadowing his father at practice, he is running around the house
playing some kind of ball. He loves sports
just like his daddy, and loves to be cuddled (mommy taught him well). He has the biggest heart, and always knows how
to make you smile.
My second son, Tristan, was diagnosed with a severe neural
tube defect at 20 weeks. I was blessed
to carry him for 12 more weeks, when the Lord called him home. At 32 weeks, February 14th (Yap, I
had a Valentines Day baby), I delivered my silent angel. Carrying Tristan was the hardest thing I have
ever had to endure, but giving him every second of life I could was the most powerful
thing I have ever felt. He made me a
stronger person, and gave me a deeper relationship with not only my family and
friends, but with my Lord and Savior.
My love for the Lord is very evident in every aspect of my life.
I strive to honor him in everything I do.
He has shown me no matter how broken you
are, he is there holding you up.
I hope that with your time with me you not only get to know me
more, but you see the passion I have for life. I have seen how short life can be, and the presence
a single soul can have on us. I can’t wait
to meet your family and hear your story.
